Clarke Willey was born at Ft. Bragg North Carliona. Being raised in a military family gave the young man the unique opportunity to be relocated around the United States and Panama. He was formally educated up north at The Northfield Mt. Hermon School and The Universiuty of Massachusetts as a Landscape Architect and Environmental Designer. Upon graduation Clarke immediatly began traveling and studying design in the US and internationally. His greatest opportunity accured while working and studying architecture under the direction of Clarke Plaxco and James Peters at The Planning and Design Collaborative in Richmond Virginia.
This life experience gives Clarke a unique insight on how the built enviornment works to influence ones life experience. This self taught painters passion for the study of the form and function of the natural and man made world fuels his desire to serve his clients by painting a statemant that captures and illustrates their unique spirit here on earth.
